Controls not responsive

The controls are not as responsive as they should be. For example if you stop holding down for jump gliding, the character doesnt immediately start falling. Other times the character doesnt jump or glide when I need it too, even though I used the controls correctly. For someone that keeps playing the levels over and over again until I can get all of the yellow bugs without any cheats, this is incredibly frustrating. Ive tried some levels so many times, and I keep dying due to the unpolished controls. This game is more infuriating than fun.
